“ Our first time in Boston & first stop for lunch - large birthday party of 9, we were seated in perfect window booth to view the city while we enjoyed lunch. Michael, our server was great, explaining the menu items & favorites. We ordered a bit of everything from the menu, which accommodated our vegetarian diners- we started with 2 orders of Artisan bread, drizzled with/olive oil & served with shaved salt & butter - delicious! the clam chowder (served with fried clams)- a bit rich & thick soup but taste was spot on! The Bibb Lettuce salad was fresh & salad dressing a great compliment. For lunch we order individual oysters on the half shell, a card with choices & descriptions was great- served chilled. We wouldn't pass the lobster rolls, served warm (best ever!), the fish n chips (hake) , small plate of warm king crab roll (my favorite!) & a Saltie girl cheese burger, served with fried lobster & avocado & fries. Everything from start to finish was delicious, served hot & we shared plates all around. Never wanted for anything, staff were great. Perfect Boston spot for the best food Boston has to offer! Prices were comparable with others in the area- This will be a must stop on our next trip! ”

“ Saltie Girl: Great Seafood & Vibe, Service Could Improve Saltie Girl has amazing decor--definitely a place that lives up to its online photos. Once I tasted the food, I realized it was just as impressive. Perfect spot for any seafood lover! The prices are on the higher side, but the moules frites were fantastic, the lobster roll was solid, and the oysters were great. I especially loved the fun touch of having sauces in droppers. We were celebrating a special occasion and had noted it in our reservation, but there was no acknowledgment or extra gesture, like a birthday wish. Given the price point, I expected a bit more in terms of service, which was the only downside. Still, I'd be happy to give them another chance and look forward to coming back! ”

“ Saltie Girl was one of our last restaurants that we ate at while we were in Boston. My husband wanted to make sure we had some oysters and this spot popped up on our Yelp app, so we decided to give it a go! The spot itself is really cute. It was very aesthetically pleasing and the staff were great. We sat at the oyster bar as my husband wanted to see all the action. We ordered the moules frites and some oysters, and it did not disappoint! I would definitely add this to your list if dining in Boston and looking for some delicious seafood! ”

“ We grabbed dinner here after a long day of shopping and walking around Boston. Saw this on TikTok and decided to give it a try, and I am happy about it! Because it was so cold outside, I needed something warm and soupy so the clam chowder was just the perfect choice. This was one of the best clam chowder I've had with a good ratio of ingredients included. The calamari was mixed in with fried peppers and chorizo, which I thought was a unique addition, and I loved it. My friend got the lobster roll and she also said that it was one of the best lobster rolls she's had. Crab meat was super tender and saucy. So glad we chose this place!! ”

“ Y'all. I'm not gonna lie. I hesitated coming here for years. I felt like it was going to be touristy and overhyped and just another lobster roll. I WAS SO WRONG. Our experience was mid afternoon on a Thursday and it was a top restaurant experience OF ALL TIME for my husband and I. We were greeted so kindly by the hostess, seated in a lovely area downstairs in almost a bay window type of area and our waitress (who's name I of course didn't write down) was PERFECT. When I tell you she was as excited for us to be there as we were, came in hot with the recommendations, I just can't say enough about how wonderful she was and how she made the experience just as much as the food did. Ok let's talk about the food and drink though. From start to finish we enjoyed every single bite of our meal. I started with the Saltie martini with an olive oil vodka my girl recommended and it KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF. It was perfect, full of flavor, and has made me want a martini just like this every day since. Then we went with the Tuna Carpaccio - the tuna was sliced paper thin, was fresh, the oil and citrus flavor with the crunch of the pistachios made for the most luxurious bites and left us wanting to eat this repeatedly. THEN THE DAMN LOBSTER ROLLS COME OUT. I don't know how it was executed so perfectly, but it was. The bread was toasty, the lobster was buttery and melt in your mouth with the perfect texture and I enjoyed every last morsel. Top 5 meals I've ever had and it's not even close, and we've had several of the "top" lobster roll spots in Boston and Maine. This will be on our list every single time we come to Boston. Such a great spot and for the cost we left full and so happy. Loved it. ”

“ Visited this bustling spot on a short trip to Boston. We were able to snag a walk-in table for three on a Friday without much wait. Service was excellent and friendly. They also allowed us to replace an entree we didn't enjoy (sea bass) with the lobster roll. The tartare was surprisingly good -- it was served in a nonstandard way (buried in mounds of bread and cheese) so my expectations were a bit low. The combination was delightful and I'd give it a 4.5 / 5. The lobster roll was good, but nothing innovative. At a market price of 42 dollars I probably wouldn't order it again. You should also definitely skip the fries. They're a $4 up charge and very mediocre (bad even, as fries go). 3.5 / 5. Saltie Girl was good, but I don't think I'd visit again at the price point. ”

“ When in Rome... While in Boston for work, a colleague recommended that I try Saltie Girl for great lobsta. So I went - and my expectations were exceeded! Both the clam chowder and lobster roll were AMAZING! Full of flavor, pop, and warmth - the lobster roll was nothing short of food paradise. The clam chowder? Well, it's the perfect remedy for a cold Boston evening. It was rich and flavourful! My only advice, don't eat lunch so you have more space for dinner! Max stars! ”

“ After checking out reviews, I knew Saltie Girl was the lunch for me. This was my first meal after getting into Boston for a work conference that also coincided with my birthday. And what an intro to Boston and birthday meal this was! Considering I was a party of one, the hosts were able to find me a seat at the bar upstairs. (If you go, though, I would definitely recommend reservations.) There was a group of four of us singletons who were shown to the bar, and the lady sitting next to me was also celebrating her birthday funny enough. The bartender took us through the menus, and when asked for her favorite item, she pointed me to the lobster and waffles (like chicken and waffles ... but lobster). So I gave it a go! And somehow the subtle sweetness of the waffles, fried lobster and even honey worked together. I also got a Bloody Mary with an oyster on top. Spicy and delicious! The bartender was testing some new seasonal cocktails while we sat there, which she shared with us -- a fun treat! This started my day off of exploring Boston on such a high note! ”
